Title: Technical Communicator/Warranty Admin.
Location: Tonawanda/Buffalo, NY

Job Desc/Summary: The Technical Communicator / Warranty Administrator is responsible for resolving complex technical issues through collaborative processes involving service and manufacturer personnel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: •Provide technical support to Service Managers and Technicians •Serve as the primary technical liaison between Anderson Equipment and key manufacturers including Komatsu and Cummins •Fulfill various warranty responsibilities •Manage Komatsu Service Policy requests for Anderson Equipment •Work with Anderson training personnel to enhance the company’s training program. Conduct training modules in areas of expertise •Maintain proficiency in critical administrative and technical areas including manufacturer IT systems

Required Qualifications: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: •High School diploma or equivalent. •5 years related manufacturer and/or distributor experience. •Bachelors degree a plus. •Experience as a Technician is not a prerequisite but considered to be valuable for this position. TECHNICAL SKILLS: •Must possess detailed knowledge of heavy equipment. •Familiarity with specific lines of equipment serviced by Anderson Equipment is considered a plus. •Ability to read and interpret manufacturers manuals, schematics, and technical procedures. •Possess the ability to quickly grasp mechanical and technical information and applications. •Demonstrated technical aptitude to diagnose problems related to a variety of heavy equipment. •Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of creating cost-effective solutions to technical issues. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: •Must have strong verbal and written skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical issues and solutions. •Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. •Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at various levels within Anderson Equipment, manufactures, and customers. COMPUTER SKILLS: •Must have working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome. Must be able to use these programs to research information and presenting data as required. •Demonstrated experience with corporate ERP systems. The ability to utilize business systems to locate data and find transactions such as warranty claims is considered to be an important component of the position
