Title: Service Apprentice
Location: Charleston, WV

Job Desc/Summary: Anderson Equipment's Service Intern program is designed to enable the employee to gain experience in the maintenance and repair of construction equipment. While this position lists only 4 of our branches, all 19 are eligible for this program. Interns will take directions from the Service Manager, Leadman, or experienced Service Technicians over the duration of the internship. Interns will be assigned work which will include, but not be limited to: Perform basic equipment maintenance. Assist other Service Technicians in more complicated repairs. Perform tasks such as: Loading and unloading machinery. Completing check in and check out procedures. Fueling equipment. Steam cleaning machines. Organizing equipment and attachments in yard.

Required Qualifications: High school diploma; Currently enrolled in a two or four-year accredited vocational college relevant to the repair and maintenance of construction equipment; Basic familiarity of equipment operations, mechanical functions, electrical and hydraulic systems considered a plus; Basic understanding of computers and diagnostic programs provided by manufacturers. Ownership of adequate hand tools.
